Experience Required :

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience on Hexagon J5, with experience across different J5 modules.

Role Summary :

The customer is looking for an experienced Hexagon J5 Configuration Specialist to support their J5 application environment for fertilizer plant operations. The resource should be a self-starter who can work independently, coordinate with multiple stakeholders at the customer end, and handle configuration, functional enhancements, and integration-related activities. This is a single-resource requirement, so the candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned work.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work as a J5 configuration specialist for the customers J5 application environment.

- Configure and enhance J5 modules based on business and plant operations requirements.

- Work across different J5 modules such as logbook, shift handover, forms, workflows, operator rounds, incidents, standing orders, and related operational modules.

- Understand functional requirements from business users and convert them into J5 configuration changes.

- Coordinate directly with different stakeholders at the customer end, including business users, plant operations teams, IT teams, and project stakeholders.

- Work independently without requiring day-to-day handholding.

- Support J5 functional enhancements, change requests, and configuration updates.

- Assist with J5 integrations with other enterprise or plant systems as required.

- Troubleshoot configuration, functional, and integration-related issues.

- Support testing, UAT, deployment validation, and post-implementation support.

- Prepare or update configuration documentation, functional notes, and handover documents where required.

- Provide clear status updates and proactively highlight risks, blockers, or dependencies.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Hexagon J5.

- Strong experience in J5 configuration and functional enhancement work.

- Experience across multiple J5 modules.

- Good understanding of plant operations, preferably in the fertilizer industry.

- Ability to independently understand user requirements and configure J5 accordingly.

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience in fertilizer, petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, refinery, or process manufacturing environments.
