Role Overview :

We are looking for a Hands-on Head of Engineering with deep AI development expertise and a strong background in enterprise B2B SaaS products. This role requires a leader who has spent their entire career in product-based organizations, understands how to scale AI-powered platforms, and can drive engineering strategy while remaining technically grounded.

You will work closely with Product, Leadership, and Customers to deliver AI-first, enterprise-grade SaaS solutions at scale.

Key Responsibilities (Highlighted) :

Engineering Leadership :

- Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams

- Establish strong engineering processes, coding standards, and delivery excellence

- Hire and retain top-tier product-focused engineering talent

AI & Product Development (Critical) :

- Own and drive AI-first architecture and development

- Build and scale solutions using LLMs, Generative AI, AI Agents, and applied ML

- Translate AI capabilities into real-world enterprise SaaS features

- Stay hands-on with system design and critical technical decisions

Product & Roadmap Ownership :

- Partner with Product Leadership to align engineering roadmap with business goals

- Deliver multiple product releases with high reliability and performance

- Ensure scalability, maintainability, and security of the platform

Cloud & Platform Architecture :

- Architect and scale cloud-native SaaS platforms on AWS

- Lead containerized deployments using Docker & Kubernetes

- Champion DevOps, CI/CD, and reliability engineering practices

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Work closely with enterprise customers to understand requirements

- Represent engineering in customer-facing and leadership discussions

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable) :

Experience :

- 10+ years in product-based software companies only

- 5+ years in a senior engineering leadership role

- Exclusive experience in B2B SaaS domain (no services/IT consulting background)

- Proven experience delivering multiple versions of a SaaS product

AI & Technical Expertise (Must-Have) :

- Strong, hands-on core experience in AI development

- Practical experience with :

1. LLMs & Generative AI

2. AI Agents and applied ML systems

- Deep understanding of enterprise-scale AI system design

- Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker

- Familiarity with ReactJS / Angular for modern SaaS UI delivery

- Strong grasp of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
