Role Purpose :

The Head D365 Finance & Operations & Digital Manufacturing will be responsible for leading the organization's ERP ecosystem, digital manufacturing initiatives, and business process transformation programs. The role will serve as the strategic owner of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), ensuring effective application support, business alignment, governance, continuous improvement, and digital innovation across manufacturing and corporate functions.

The incumbent will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, Microsoft, implementation partners, and technology vendors while driving ERP optimization, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and manufacturing digitalization programs.

Key Responsibilities :

ERP Leadership & Governance :

- Own and manage the D365 F&O platform across all business functions and manufacturing locations.

- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for ERP-related initiatives and escalations.

- Establish ERP governance frameworks, support processes, and service management standards.

- Ensure system availability, reliability, scalability, and business continuity.

Team Leadership & Capability Building :

- Lead and mentor ERP application support and development teams.

- Drive team performance, capability development, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

- Define support structures, KPIs, SLAs, and service delivery standards.

- Build a high-performing ERP competency center.

Business Process Optimization :

- Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, and Logistics teams to identify process improvement opportunities.

- Translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions.

- Lead business process standardization and optimization initiatives.

- Drive ERP adoption and user engagement across the organization.

ERP Enhancement & Release Management :

- Manage the complete application lifecycle through Azure DevOps.

- Oversee requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

- Lead version upgrades, patch management, enhancements, and release cycles.

- Ensure effective UAT planning and execution.

Manufacturing Digitalization & Industry 4.0 :

- Partner with manufacturing teams to drive digital transformation initiatives.

- Support integration of shop-floor systems, automation platforms, MES, IoT, and manufacturing analytics.

- Improve operational visibility through real-time manufacturing data and reporting.

- Drive Industry 4.0 adoption across manufacturing locations.

Application Integration Management :

- Manage integrations between D365 F&O and enterprise applications such as:

1. Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

2. Dealer Management Systems (DMS)

3. Banking Platforms

4. Logistics Solutions

5. CRM Systems

6. Manufacturing Systems

- Ensure integration stability, data quality, and system performance.

Vendor & Microsoft Management :

- Coordinate with Microsoft support teams for technical escalations and product issues.

- Manage implementation partners and support vendors.

- Ensure SLA adherence, quality delivery, and project governance.

- Review partner performance and deliverables.

Documentation, Compliance & Controls :

- Maintain ERP documentation, process flows, configurations, and technical artifacts.

- Drive change management and release governance processes.

- Ensure compliance with audit requirements, internal controls, and IT policies.

Candidate Profile :

Experience :

- 12 to 15+ years of ERP experience.

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

- Strong manufacturing industry experience.

- Experience leading ERP support, implementation, transformation, or COE teams.

- Proven experience managing enterprise-wide ERP programs.

Educational Qualification :

- BE / B.Tech (Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent).

- MBA or relevant management qualification preferred.
