Role Overview :

The Manager - IT Infrastructure will be responsible for overseeing enterprise network and security operations, ensuring availability, performance, compliance, and resilience of IT infrastructure.

This role acts as a critical bridge between technical teams, vendors, and senior management, with ownership of incident management, security compliance, and infrastructure governance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Demonstrate strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, packet analysis, and network traffic behavior.

- Perform threat analysis, malware analysis, and conceptual mapping of the cyber attack lifecycle / kill chain.

- Review and analyze MIS reports from Network and Security teams to track performance, risks, and compliance.

- Support and manage microsegmentation architecture, ensuring secure east-west traffic control.

- Manage security and compliance for network and security appliances, including :

1. Firewalls (FortiGate or equivalent)

2. VPN solutions

3. Anti-APT / Advanced Threat Protection

4. Microsegmentation platforms

- Ensure adherence to organizational security standards, audits, and regulatory requirements.

- Prepare and maintain SOPs, policies, and operational documentation for infrastructure and security domains.

- Handle incidents end-to-end, from detection and escalation to closure.

- Manage SLA adherence, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).

- Prioritize and manage advisories, incidents, problems, and events effectively.

- Lead crisis and major incident handling, ensuring minimal business impact.

- Coordinate with third-party vendors for :

1. Proof of Concepts (POCs)

2. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

3. Solution deployment and upgrades

- Manage vendor commercials, contracts, and negotiations.

- Oversee license, certificate, and asset lifecycle management, including renewals and upgrades.

- Act as a bridge between technical teams and management, translating technical risks and metrics into business impact.

- Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and reviews to senior leadership.

- Define and enforce RACI matrices across infrastructure and security domains.

- Mentor and guide technical teams to improve operational maturity.

Desired Skills & Experience :

Experience :

- 8-12 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Network, and Security Operations.

- Prior experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure environments.

Technical Skills :

- Network Administration (Routing & Switching)

- Firewall Management (FortiGate preferred)

- VPN Technologies

- SD-WAN Solutions

- Incident Handling & Major Incident Management

- Router and Switch Configuration

- Packet Analysis and Network Troubleshooting

- Microsoft Defender ATP / Endpoint Security

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, NSE, ITIL, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.

- Experience working in regulated or high-availability environments
