We are seeking a Conversion Developer to do hands-on development and execution of HCM data conversion activities for an Oracle Fusion HCM implementation.

The role focuses on extracting, transforming, loading, validating, and reconciling HR data from various legacy sources into Oracle Fusion, while supporting the HCM Conversion Lead in planning, execution, and delivery governance.

The candidate will act as a technical anchor for HCM data migration, ensuring accurate, secure, and compliant movement of HR data from legacy systems into Fusion HCM.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Data Management & ETL Execution :

- Perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) activities for Oracle Fusion HCM

- Develop and execute data loads using :

1. HDL (HCM Data Loader)

2. REST / SOAP APIs

3. ADFdi / FBDI (where applicable)

4. Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) (if used)

- Design data extraction queries, staging tables, and transformation logic

- Optimize large-volume HR data loads for performance and accuracy

2. HCM Data Scope Handling :

- Worker, assignment, job, position, and organization data

- Payroll, compensation, benefits, and time & labor data

- Security roles, user accounts, and data access structures

- Open HR / payroll balances (as applicable)

3. Data Validation, Reconciliation & Defect Handling

- Execute pre-load and post-load data validation checks

- Prepare and analyze reconciliation reports

- Troubleshoot and resolve HDL / interface errors

- Support defect resolution during SIT, UAT, payroll parallel runs, and Go-Live

4. Conversion Cycle Support

- Support mock conversions, cutover rehearsals, and final Go-Live loads

- Execute delta and incremental data loads

- Support post-Go-Live data fixes and stabilization

5. Collaboration & Delivery Support

- Work closely with :

1. HCM Functional Consultants

2. Payroll SMEs

3. Integration / OIC teams

4. HCM Conversion Lead

- Support status reporting, risk identification, and issue escalation

- Review junior team members data loads and provide technical guidance

6. Documentation & Compliance :

- Maintain data mapping, ETL logic, and load execution documentation

- Ensure PII and payroll data security and compliance with policies

- Support audit and compliance requirements related to HR data migration

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM data conversion

- Deep expertise in HDL (HCM Data Loader)

- Strong SQL / PL-SQL skills for extraction and validation

- Solid understanding of HCM modules and payroll data structures

- Experience with ETL concepts and reconciliation

- Prior experience in offshore delivery roles

Preferred / Good to Have :

- Oracle EBS / Fusion HCM migration experience

- Oracle Fusion HCM / HDL certification

- Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

- Experience in global payroll implementations

- Experience mentoring small technical teams
