Role : Technical Program Manager (TPM)

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced and highly driven Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the Product Delivery & Success Team within the Digital Products & Services (DPS) organization. The role will be responsible for driving end-to-end execution of large-scale digital transformation initiatives by collaborating with engineering, product, business, and design teams.

The TPM will play a critical role in ensuring delivery governance, execution excellence, Agile transformation, and stakeholder alignment across multiple strategic programs. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role combined with people management responsibility for Scrum Masters supporting the program.

Key Responsibilities :

Program & Delivery Management :

- Drive end-to-end technical program delivery across multiple cross-functional initiatives from

concept through design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Manage large-scale digital transformation programs with focus on execution, governance, timelines, dependencies, and quality outcomes.

- Define program scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements in collaboration with engineering, product, business, and design stakeholders.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions while balancing business priorities

and technical feasibility.

- Manage multiple concurrent technical projects and ensure superior execution outcomes.

Stakeholder & Communication Management :

- Act as the primary coordination point between cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

- Facilitate daily, weekly, and executive-level program reviews and governance meetings.

- Provide transparent communication on program progress, blockers, risks, and mitigation plans.

- Partner with program leadership to shape and execute product roadmaps aligned with strategic business goals.

- Effectively switch between strategic planning and tactical execution to drive delivery success.

Agile & Team Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a team of Scrum Masters supporting complex transformation programs.

- Coach teams on Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps, and enterprise delivery frameworks, tools, and best

practices.

- Foster Agile methodologies, continuous improvement, collaboration, and delivery excellence across teams.

- Drive organizational transformation initiatives including Agile adoption and process optimization.

Risk & Technical Oversight :

- Proactively identify technical, procedural, operational, legal, and communication risks and

drive mitigation strategies.

- Monitor project health including delivery status, timelines, risks, dependencies, and issue

resolution.

- Ensure infrastructure readiness, integration testing, deployment planning, and environment dependencies are addressed.

- Collaborate closely with technical teams to understand architecture, APIs, middleware, databases, integrations, and deployment requirements.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery

methodologies.

- Experience with Agile SAFe framework, DevSecOps practices, and enterprise delivery models.

- Hands-on understanding of :

1. APIs & Web Services

2. Object-Oriented Design & Modelling

3. Middleware Technologies

4. Database Systems

5. Data Mining Systems

6. Integration & Deployment Processes

- Expertise in program/project management tools such as :

1. Azure DevOps

2. Jira

3. Confluence

4. Other Agile delivery tools

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.

- Proven ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and drive execution in fast-paced

environments.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or

related field.

- 14+ years of overall experience in technology delivery and program management.

- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience as a :

1. Technical Program Manager

2. Technical Delivery Lead

3. Program Delivery Manager

- Experience working within :

1. Large enterprise digital transformation environments

2. CPG/FMCG organizations

3. Top-tier consulting firms

- Prior software development or engineering experience will be an added advantage.
