Job Description :
- Developing software that controls and interfaces with RF instrumentation, measurement hardware, and embedded systems.
- Implementing algorithms related to RF measurements, signal processing, calibration, correction, and data analysis for VNAs.
- Working on system level software that integrates RF frontend hardware, firmware, and user facing applications.
- Debugging and resolving complex customer, system, and application-level issues involving both software and hardware interactions.
- Documenting software designs, architectures, algorithms, and implementation details.
- Collaborating with cross functional teams to transition new designs and enhancements into production.
- Contributing to feature definition, design reviews, and technical decision-making for complex subsystems.
- Staying current with industry trends in RF, microwave measurements, and modern software technologies, and applying them to product development.
Essential Qualifications :
- 6+ years of R&D experience in product or system level software development.
- Strong experience developing large, production quality software applications.
- Proficiency in C++ (Modern C++ preferred) and object-oriented design.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with hardwaresoftware integration, especially in test and measurement systems.
- Good knowledge of RF and electronics concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex, high impact issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of quickly learning new technologies and domains.
- Strong team player with a high level of ownership and accountability
Preferred Qualifications / Nice to Have :
- Experience working with Vector Network Analyzers (VNA) or RF/microwave test and
measurement instruments.
- Background in RF and microwave measurements, including S-parameters, calibration techniques, and error correction.
- Good understanding of RF and electronics fundamentals.
- Experience with MFC for Windows based application development.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio development environment.
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum software development processes.
- Experience with instrument control, measurement automation, or precision measurement systems.
