Job Description :

The identified candidate will serve as a SME for Oracle EPM On-Premises Infrastructure, demonstrating extensive experience in designing, implementing, and supporting on-premises EPM environments. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of Oracle EPM on-premises applications. This role requires collaboration with global technical teams, as well as direct involvement with production support, system upgrades, and issue resolution across multiple EPM applications.

Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and maintain Oracle EPM infrastructure on-premises environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

- Lead the setup and maintenance of EPM environments including Hyperion Planning, Essbase, HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), and other related Oracle EPM products.

- Monitor and troubleshoot application and system performance issues, providing root-cause analysis and recommendations for resolution.

- Collaborate with business and technical teams to implement infrastructure enhancements and upgrades.

- Ensure compliance with change management processes and deploy patches, updates, and security fixes in a timely manner.

- Manage disaster recovery setups, backup procedures, and ensure data integrity.

- Develop and document processes for system administration, including user management, system backup, and performance tuning.

- Lead system migrations, including Oracle EPM version upgrades and server transitions.

- Provide training and support to end-users and junior team members, sharing knowledge on best practices for Oracle EPM infrastructure.

- Work with vendors and third-party providers to resolve hardware and software issues.

Essential Skills

To qualify for the role, candidate must have :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM on-premises infrastructure, including Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and HFM.

- Strong knowledge of installation, configuration, and management of Oracle EPM applications and supporting infrastructure.

- Deep expertise in Linux/Unix and Windows environments for Oracle EPM setups.

- Hands-on experience in performance tuning and optimizing Oracle EPM applications and databases.

- Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery for Oracle EPM environments.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues.

- Familiarity with Oracle databases and integration between Oracle EPM and other enterprise systems.

- Oracle EPM/Hyperion certifications are a plus.

Job :

- Experience with Oracle cloud products is a plus.

- Knowledge of scripting and automation for system management tasks.

- Understanding of security protocols and best practices in an Oracle EPM on-premises environment.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

- Leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior team members.

- A background in finance or an MBA in Finance is beneficial.
