About the Role :


The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and managing technical documentation for various projects within the organization. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities :


- Independently work on technical communication projects.


- Plan, author, review, validate, and test documents.


- Ensure project results meet requirements and ensure technical accuracy, quality, reliability, and schedule.


Qualifications :


- Graduate with an Engineering or Science degree preferred.


- 1 to 3 years of experience in Technical Writing.


- Semiconductor experience preferred.


- Candidate must join Applied Materials within 4 weeks of accepting the offer.


Required Skills :


- Excellent English language verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.


Proficient in technical publishing software :


- Adobe Suite Acrobat Pro


- GraphicalMS Paint


- MS Office SuiteWord, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook


- Ability to work in a cross-functional organization and multitask on multiple projects.


- Must be a quick learner, and self-starter, with strong attention to detail, and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.


- May require 10% international travel.


Preferred Skills :


- Experience in the semiconductor industry.


- Familiarity with additional technical writing tools.
