Job Summary :

GyanSys is looking for an experienced SAP WM Lead Consultant with 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) / Logistics Execution - Warehouse Management (LE-WM). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in warehouse management processes, solution design, configuration, and implementation.

The candidate will lead end-to-end SAP WM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects while working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams. The role requires strong functional knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory movements, inbound and outbound logistics, and warehouse process optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end SAP WM / LE-WM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP WM functional solutions.

- Design warehouse processes and solution architecture aligned with business and operational requirements.

- Configure SAP WM functionalities and ensure effective integration with relevant SAP modules.

- Manage inbound warehouse processes, including goods receipt, putaway, and stock placement.

- Configure and support outbound processes such as picking, packing, staging, and goods issue.

- Manage internal warehouse operations, including replenishment, stock transfers, and physical inventory.

- Define and maintain warehouse structures, including warehouse numbers, storage types, storage sections, storage bins, quants, and storage units.

- Configure and manage Transfer Requirements (TR), Transfer Orders (TO), transfer confirmations, and warehouse movement types.

- Optimize warehouse processes to improve inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and warehouse productivity.

- Conduct functional testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.

- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and process documentation.

- Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and other SAP functional consultants for seamless project delivery.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP WM / LE-WM.

- Strong functional expertise in SAP Warehouse Management and logistics processes.

- Experience leading SAP WM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.

- Strong knowledge of warehouse process design, solution architecture, and configuration.

- Hands-on experience with inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, putaway, picking, replenishment, stock transfer, and physical inventory processes.

- Expertise in warehouse structure configuration and management.

- Experience working with Transfer Requirements, Transfer Orders, transfer confirmations, movement types, and warehouse movements.

- Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience integrating SAP WM with SAP MM, SD, and other logistics modules.

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA warehouse processes and migration projects.

- Experience in warehouse process optimization and business transformation initiatives.

- Knowledge of RF transactions and warehouse automation.

- SAP WM certification would be an added advantage.
