GyanSys - SAP CPI Integration Consultant

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP CPI Integration Consultant with 68 years of experience in SAP integration technologies to join our team for strategic internal integration initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh, with hands-on experience in designing scalable, secure, and event-driven enterprise integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.

The role requires strong technical capabilities in building API-led and message-based architectures, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP CPI / Cloud Integration :

- Design, develop, and deploy integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).

- Configure and implement message mappings, content modifiers, adapters, routing logic, exception handling, and reusable integration components.

- Develop and support synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, and OData services.

- Build secure and scalable integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, third-party applications, and other enterprise platforms.

- Optimize integrations for performance, maintainability, scalability, and reusability.

SAP Event Mesh & Event-Driven Architecture :

- Design and implement event-driven integration scenarios using SAP Event Mesh.

- Configure queues, topics, subscriptions, and publish/subscribe messaging patterns.

- Enable, consume, and process business events from SAP S/4HANA and other integrated applications.

- Support real-time and near real-time business process integrations.

API Management :

- Design, publish, and manage RESTful APIs using SAP API Management.

- Configure API proxies, policies, throttling, rate limiting, security, monitoring, and versioning.

- Implement OAuth2, JWT, token-based authentication, and API security best practices.

- Expose and maintain APIs for internal and external consumers.

Integration Architecture & Support :

- Develop end-to-end integration solutions leveraging SAP Integration Suite capabilities.

- Contribute to API-led, event-driven, and hybrid integration architecture designs.

- Collaborate with Integration Architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders for solution design and implementation.

- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and support integrations across DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD environments.

- Analyze and resolve integration failures, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity issues.

- Prepare technical design documents, integration specifications, and operational runbooks.

- Ensure adherence to enterprise integration standards, governance, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP integration technologies.

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite / SAP CPI.

- Expertise in SAP API Management and SAP Event Mesh.

- Good understanding of integration patterns, middleware concepts, and API-led architecture.

- Experience with REST, SOAP, IDoc, OData, XML, JSON, XSLT, and Groovy scripting.

- Knowledge of authentication and security mechanisms including OAuth2, SAML, JWT, and certificates.

- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP cloud/on-premise applications.

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integrations and SAP BTP services.

- Exposure to SAP Integration Advisor and Open Connectors.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for integration deployments.

- SAP CPI / Integration Suite certification is preferred.
