GyanSys - SAP Basis Team Lead

Role Overview :

GyanSys is looking for an experienced SAP Basis Technical Lead to administer, secure, and optimize SAP landscapes across on-premise and cloud environments. The role will own system availability, performance, upgrades, migrations, and technical operations while working closely with functional, development, and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/BW4HANA, Solution Manager, Fiori/Gateway, PI/PO, and CPI environments.

- Plan and execute SAP upgrades, EHP/SPS updates, kernel patching, system copies, and refreshes.

- Lead/support SAP migrations including ECC to S/4HANA, on-premise to cloud, and database migrations.

- Work across AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.

- Administer SAP HANA and databases including Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and MaxDB.

- Manage database backup/recovery, performance tuning, HSR, and system replication.

- Manage SAP transport landscapes using STMS and CTS+, including transport strategy and change control.

- Monitor system health and performance using Solution Manager, EarlyWatch, ST03N, ST04, SM50/SM66, and DBACOCKPIT.

- Troubleshoot critical SAP Basis, performance, availability, and connectivity issues.

- Coordinate with functional, development, infrastructure, and security teams for technical issues and projects.

- Ensure SAP systems meet availability, security, performance, and operational standards.

Required Skills :

- 6-12 years of SAP Basis experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA.

- Experience with SAP upgrades, patching, system copies/refreshes, and migrations.

- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA and database administration.

- Experience with STMS, CTS+, Solution Manager, EarlyWatch, and SAP monitoring tools.

- Exposure to SAP cloud environments and AWS/Azure/GCP.

- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.

- Good understanding of SAP system security, availability, backup, and recovery.

Good to Have :

- Experience leading ECC to S/4HANA transformation projects.

- Cloud migration experience.

- Exposure to Fiori/Gateway, PI/PO, CPI, BW/BW4HANA.

- Experience in high-availability and disaster-recovery environments.

- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
