Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Lead Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development and S/4HANA Private Cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ABAP development along with significant experience working on S/4HANA Private Cloud implementations and support.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs and applications.

- Work on ABAP development in S/4HANA Private Cloud environments.

- Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP technical solutions.

- Develop and enhance custom reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements and workflows.

- Perform technical design, coding, unit testing and debugging of ABAP objects.

- Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutions.

- Support integration scenarios between SAP and external systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP and S/4HANA applications.

- Follow SAP development standards and best practices across the development lifecycle.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure quality, performance and maintainability of ABAP developments.

- Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level ABAP developers.

- Support implementation, enhancement and migration activities within S/4HANA Private Cloud.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Minimum 5+ years of relevant SAP ABAP experience.

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with S/4HANA Private Cloud.

- Strong understanding of ABAP programming and SAP technical architecture.

- Experience with custom developments, enhancements, reports and interfaces.

- Good understanding of SAP integration and development best practices.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in enterprise SAP environments.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with ABAP on HANA.

- Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP and OData.

- Experience with RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 integration.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementation or migration projects.

- Understanding of clean-core development principles.
