Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP / OData / BTP / RAP Developer with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA development, modern ABAP programming, and cloud-based application development. The ideal candidate should have experience building and extending SAP applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), developing OData services, and leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, integrating, and supporting custom SAP applications while following SAP Clean Core principles and modern development standards. Strong knowledge of CDS Views, Fiori integration, and ABAP development tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP Objects in SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Develop, enhance, and consume OData V2 and V4 services for SAP Fiori applications and external system integrations.

- Build and extend applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

- Develop and maintain Core Data Services (CDS) Views, including data modelling and annotations.

- Configure and implement behavior definitions, behavior implementations, and service bindings.

- Work with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for application development, extensions, and integrations.

- Use ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse for modern ABAP development.

- Implement custom enhancements using BAdIs, BAPIs, user exits, and other SAP enhancement frameworks.

- Integrate SAP applications with external systems using OData services and REST APIs.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.

- Perform debugging, unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to SAP Clean Core principles.

- Support application deployment, production issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.

- Strong expertise in ABAP Objects and modern ABAP programming.

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA development and custom application enhancements.

- Hands-on experience developing and consuming OData V2/V4 services.

- Strong knowledge of SAP BTP and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

- Experience working with CDS Views, behavior definitions, behavior implementations, and service bindings.

- Proficiency in ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse.

- Experience with BAdIs, BAPIs, user exits, and enhancement frameworks.

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 integration and REST APIs.

- Understanding of SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility concepts.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and performance optimization skills.

- Ability to independently develop, test, and support SAP applications and integrations.

Good to Have :

- Experience with SAP BTP ABAP Environment.

- Knowledge of Fiori Elements and application development.

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA cloud or hybrid environments.

- SAP BTP or relevant SAP development certification.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
