Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Architect to lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

The role is part of a large-scale Integration Modernization initiative focused on migrating existing SAP PI/PO interfaces to MuleSoft and onboarding B2B EDI trading partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Integration Architecture: Design and implement enterprise integration architectures using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring scalability, reusability, performance, and maintainability.

- SAP PI/PO Migration: Lead the assessment, redesign, and migration of existing SAP PI/PO interfaces to MuleSoft, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.

- API Development and Management: Design and govern secure, reusable APIs using API-led connectivity principles, including System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs.

- B2B EDI Integration: Architect and implement B2B EDI solutions, including trading partner onboarding, message mapping, data transformation, validation, and partner connectivity.

- Enterprise Application Integration: Design integration solutions connecting SAP systems, enterprise applications, databases, and external platforms.

- API Governance and Security: Establish API design standards, access controls, authentication, authorization, encryption, and governance policies to ensure secure data exchange.

- Technical Leadership: Guide development teams on solution design, coding standards, integration patterns, code reviews, and troubleshooting.

- Performance and Reliability: Define strategies for error handling, logging, monitoring, retry mechanisms, exception management, and performance optimization.

- Deployment and Production Support: Oversee solution deployment across environments, resolve complex integration issues, and ensure reliable production operations.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with enterprise architects, SAP teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

- Documentation and Best Practices: Maintain architecture diagrams, interface specifications, technical documentation, and reusable integration frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 12+ years of experience in enterprise integration, software development, and solution architecture.

- Strong hands-on expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and enterprise API development.

- Excellent understanding of API-led connectivity, REST APIs, integration patterns, and API lifecycle management.

- Experience in SAP PI/PO interface migration and integration modernization initiatives.

- Knowledge of B2B EDI integration, trading partner onboarding, message transformation, and validation.

- Strong understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, error handling, and monitoring.

- Experience with enterprise application integrations and complex distributed systems.

- Ability to define architectural standards, lead technical discussions, and oversee end-to-end integration delivery.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
