Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Senior PLM Engineer to lead the design, customization, and integration of Aras PLM solutions, while also contributing to the development of enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies. As a technical specialist and leader, the candidate will actively engage in customer discussions, support marketing initiatives including customer visits, contribute to proposal development, and support momentum for growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Engineering & Delivery :

- Collaborate with customers to gather and analyze business requirements, define solution architecture and technical specifications.

- Design and develop enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server, with experience in both .NET Framework (for Aras platform compatibility) and .NET Core / .NET 6+ (for modern API and service development).

- Customize and configure the Aras Innovator application, including modules such as Program Management, Product Engineering, Quality Management, and Variant Management, along with business objects like Item Types, Workflows, Lifecycles, Forms, and Access Controls.

- Develop custom business logic using Aras JavaScript and .NET APIs, write AML queries, and implement server/client methods.

- Integrate Aras PLM with external systems such as ERP, PDM, and CAD using federation techniques and RESTful APIs.

- Lead and manage development teams, ensure adherence to delivery timelines and maintain high-quality standards.

- Create technical documentation, troubleshoot issues, and support end-user training and adoption.

- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and documentation teams across the SDLC.

- Contribute to the training, mentoring, and skill development of team members to build technical capabilities and ensure consistent delivery standards.

Customer Engagement :

- Work seamlessly with internal teams and marketing/sales to deliver maximum value through technical expertise.

- Develop innovative solutions by leveraging modern tools to enhance communication with customers.

- Contribute to technical proposals and RFP/RFI responses by providing both functional and technical insights to support business development.

- Participate in customer meetings, discovery workshops, and on-site visits to support strategic discussions.

- Act as a trusted solution advisor, aligning technical implementations with customer business goals.

Skills :

- Strong expertise in .NET Framework, with working knowledge of .NET Core / .NET 6+ for modern integration development.

- Proficient in C#, JavaScript (ES6+), REST APIs, SQL Server, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and application of design patterns.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Aras PLM (customization, integration, administration).

- Experience in developing a complete custom solution by creating and configuring various business objects like Item Types, Relationships, Workflows, Lifecycles, Forms, and security configuration.

- Deep understanding of PLM processes : Engineering Change Management, BOM, Document Control, Variant Management and Project Management.

- Experience with AML, Query Definitions, Tree Grids, and Content Modeling Framework (CMF).

- Deep understanding of Aras IOM and API.

- Knowledge of configuring and operating Secure Social Visual Collaboration and Office Connectors.

- Familiarity with Git, Agile development methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

- Willingness to travel for customer engagements and business meetings as needed.
