Job Description :

Guidewire InsuranceNow Developer / Senior Developer role is focused on platform configuration, Java-based development, integrations, production support, and InsuranceNow customization.

Key responsibilities include :

- Developing and maintaining applications on Guidewire InsuranceNow.

- Configuring product definitions, rating logic, and policy lifecycle flows.

- Building and troubleshooting Java-based APIs and integrations.

- Supporting custom development, deployments, and issue resolution across environments.

- Performing log analysis, debugging, and performance tuning.

- Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders for requirements gathering.

- Participating in code reviews and handling production support activities.

- Managing project risks, timelines, and multiple workstreams.

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with InsuranceNow, Java, JavaScript, and web technologies.

- Experience with Apache Tomcat, XML, HTML, and Apache Velocity.

- Hands-on knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.

- Experience using development tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, GitHub, SharePoint, and Jira.

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, log analysis, and production support capabilities.

Good-to-have skills :

- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services and cloud infrastructure.

- Understanding of Property & Casualty insurance processes and business domain.
