Role Overview :

Guidewire Billing Center Developer (Development, Configuration & Integration).

As a Guidewire Developer at Magister Sign, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform.

You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and build high-quality, scalable, and maintainable applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects for leading insurance companies, contributing directly to their success and impacting millions of policyholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and configure Guidewire applications based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment, to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Customize and extend Guidewire functionality using Gosu, Java, and other relevant technologies, to meet specific client needs.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and refine requirements, ensuring accurate and efficient implementation.

- Perform code reviews and participate in testing activities to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to maintain system stability and performance.

- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides, to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement solutions within the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).

- Proven expertise in Gosu, Java, XML, and related technologies, enabling effective customization and extension of Guidewire functionality.

- Strong understanding of insurance industry processes and data models, facilitating effective communication with business stakeholders and accurate implementation of requirements.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling efficient troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, fostering productive teamwork and knowledge sharing.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment, adapting to varying project needs and timelines.
