Role Overview:

As a Guidewire Developer at Openteq Consultants, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Guidewire solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable applications. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients' insurance operations, contributing to improved customer satisfaction and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter applications based on business requirements.

- Design and implement integrations between Guidewire and other enterprise systems.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Guidewire applications.

- Collaborate with business analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design documents and test plans.

- Support the testing and deployment of Guidewire applications.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Guidewire technologies and trends.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and configure Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).

- Proven experience in designing and implementing integrations using Guidewire Integration Framework.

- Strong understanding of Java, XML, and SQL.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Adaptable to work in a hybrid/remote environment based on project needs.

- 4-15 years of relevant experience.
