Guidewire Cloud Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced - Guidewire Cloud Developer- to develop, customize, and support cloud-based solutions on the - Guidewire Cloud Platform .

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with - Guidewire InsuranceSuite- , Guidewire Cloud implementations, cloud integrations, and Guidewire configuration/development.

Experience in the - Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance- domain is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and customize applications on the Guidewire Cloud Platform.

- Configure and enhance Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications, including - PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter- .

- Develop cloud-native integrations using REST APIs, web services, and messaging frameworks.

- Build and maintain Guidewire Cloud extensions, APIs, and reusable components.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, QA teams, and product owners to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

- Participate in Guidewire Cloud upgrades, migration projects, and production support activities.

- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and adherence to Guidewire Cloud best practices.

- Perform code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities within Agile development environments.

- Required Skills & Experience :

- 3-8 years of experience in Guidewire development with exposure to - Guidewire Cloud Platform- .

- Strong experience with - Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter- .

- Hands-on expertise in - Guidewire Cloud APIs- , Integration Frameworks, and Gosu development.

- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and Guidewire Integration Gateway.

- Knowledge of Guidewire configuration, business rules, workflows, data model, and product model.

- Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud deployment lifecycle and cloud migration projects.

- Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Guidewire Cloud Certification or Guidewire ACE Certification.

- Experience with - Gosu, Java, SQL- , and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).

- Exposure to Guidewire IntegrationHub and Guidewire Digital.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.

- Experience with Guidewire Cloud upgrades and implementation projects.

- Mandatory experience in the - Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance- domain.

- Good understanding of insurance policy administration, claims processing, billing, underwriting, and Guidewire InsuranceSuite architecture.

- Experience in Guidewire Cloud implementation, migration, or transformation projects is highly preferred.

- Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
