Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions using Guidewire BillingCenter 9.0 or higher.

- Perform hands-on BillingCenter Configuration and Integration development.

- Develop and maintain integrations with external applications using RESTful and SOAP web services.

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable BillingCenter solutions.

- Prepare detailed functional and technical specifications for development activities.

- Develop configurable, maintainable, reusable, and testable code following object-oriented design best practices.

- Design and implement database solutions and perform data-related development using SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and/or NoSQL technologies.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.

- Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for production defects.

- Identify application performance bottlenecks and implement appropriate performance improvements.

- Participate in application monitoring and troubleshooting using tools such as AppDynamics.

- Implement and support Continuous Integration (CI) practices and development processes.

- Work with tools such as Jenkins, JUnit, and GitLab for build, testing, source control, and CI/CD activities.

- Estimate, plan, track, and deliver development tasks within defined timelines.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, DevOps, and other technical teams.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing activities.

Key Skills :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

- Minimum 6 years of hands-on IT application development experience.

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Guidewire BillingCenter development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter 9.0 or higher.

- Proven experience in Guidewire BillingCenter Configuration and Integration.

- Strong knowledge of Guidewire development and configuration practices.

- Guidewire Certification is mandatory.

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on SQL experience with SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and/or NoSQL technologies.

- Minimum 2 years of experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.

- Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as AppDynamics.

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Development best practices.

- Experience with functional and technical specification preparation.

- Strong understanding of development estimation, planning, and task tracking.

- Experience troubleshooting and resolving production issues.

- Experience identifying and resolving application performance bottlenecks.

- Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration practices and tools, including Jenkins, JUnit, and GitLab.

- Proficiency in writing configurable, maintainable, reusable, and testable code.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

- Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain knowledge is an advantage.
