Job Description :

We are seeking an expert, highly strategic Guidewire Solution Architect with 10 to 20 years of technical depth to pioneer the design, configuration, integration, and deployment of enterprise-grade solutions. The successful candidate must bring over 7 years of specialized Guidewire experience across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and advanced Rating Engines. Acting as the primary technical authority, this individual will architect modern, scalable platforms while ensuring seamless cross-system integration within our Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Translate intricate P&C insurance business dynamics into robust structural designs and comprehensive technical blueprints.

- Establish foundational architecture roadmap strategies across multi-module configurations utilizing Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.

- Lead the end-to-end design and calibration of enterprise-grade Guidewire Rating engines, establishing highly performant data definitions for rate books, parameters, and matrix lookups.

- Formulate and govern technical standards for system Configuration pipelines (including Data Model Extensions, PCF layout updates, UI modifications, and custom Gosu workflow business rules).

- Blueprint enterprise-level Integration strategies to bridge Guidewire core applications with upstream and downstream downstream systems (via Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, messaging queues, and ESB layers).

- Oversee structural code reviews, set optimization baselines to counter code-bloat, and ensure zero-downtime implementation setups.

- Collaborate seamlessly with actuarial heads, underwriters, product management teams, and technical delivery squads to sync product delivery pipelines.

- Ensure all development tracks precisely align with core Guidewire product standards, minimizing custom code footprints where out-of-the-box properties suffice.

- Cultivate and mentor engineering teams, providing technical oversight to developers and config specialists.

Technical Skills & Experience Checklist :

- Complete master-level authority over Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire BillingCenter frameworks.

- Heavy expertise in core Configuration mechanics, complex peripheral Integrations, and custom Rating Engine designs.

- : Extensive functional expertise across the P&C insurance operations framework (such as policy lifecycle processing, invoicing schemes, collections, standard underwriting controls, and policy issuance metrics).

- Mastery over Gosu Object-Oriented Programming, Java, and XML data definitions.

- Certification Requirement: Must hold verifiable, active Guidewire Certifications (e.g., PolicyCenter / BillingCenter Architect or Integration/Configuration Specialist paths).
