Google Test Engineer - White Box Testing

Description :

- 5+ years of proven experience in White Box Testing including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, on latest Android platform versions.

- Strong proficiency in C, C++ programming, along with scripting using Python and/or Bash.

- In-depth knowledge of Android architecture, Android IPC mechanisms (AIDL), and Android/Linux build environments.

- Hands-on experience with Unit Testing frameworks such as GTest, GMock (stubs, mocks), and test suites like VTS, ATS, etc.

- Experience in developing and maintaining unit test cases for Android Middleware, Native layers, and HAL.

- Strong exposure to CI/CD environments and tools including Docker, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

- Expertise in using code coverage tools such as LCov, GCOV, LLVM, etc., and analyzing coverage reports.

- Strong analytical and debugging skills to identify source code gaps through effective test case development.

- Experience in test automation to ensure scalability, repeatability, and reliability of test execution.

- Review, analyze, and report test results and coverage metrics, ensuring quality standards are met.

- Actively contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating and maintaining automated unit tests.

- Suggest and implement best practices in unit testing, leveraging latest tools and frameworks for Android test automation.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
