About the Role :
At Managed Services, our primary focus is to ensure the GoldenSource application operates seamlessly and supports a smooth Day in the Life process for our clients. This includes delivering timely support and managing critical services such as Level 1 and Level 2 support and ticket management during business hours, Lower Environment Management, and Patch Analysis & Deployment.
We recognize that every client implementation is unique and continuously evolving. Through our Premium Services, including Change Request Management, Client Configuration Management, and Business Assistance, we help clients tailor the application to their business needs and maximize the value derived from the platform.
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates eager to learn and work with GoldenSource products, tools, and technologies. This is a techno-functional role focused on ensuring the smooth daily operational running of the GoldenSource platform across both cloud and on-premises environments. Supporting operational processes to maintain platform stability and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Efficiently handle and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
- Reproduce reported issues and recommending and implementing solutions to mitigate repeat issues.
- Work closely with development teams to debug software bugs, implement fixes, and deploy application updates.
- End-to-end support for client, resolving a range of issues including job/batch failure, GS configuration/exception management
- Structured Issue Replication & Debugging
- Familiarity with GS Tools/Technologies and using it debug and configure the system as per client expectations.
- Ensure proper configuration tracking and change control. (e.g., version control, deployment tools).
Required Skill Sets :
- Experience in a production support or similar technical support role.
- Proficiency with database query languages, such as SQL, for troubleshooting and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with Git/JIRA/Jenkins/Bamboo etc.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) ability to communicate/work with people at all levels/backgrounds.
- Understanding of J2EE concepts and experience of any application server
Preferred Skill Sets :
- Familiarity with agile ways of working and cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to reference data vendors.
- Atleast one scripting language : Shell / python /Java
- Capital market know how and any certification of NCFM/NISM or trade life cycle.
