The SAP FICO Executive is responsible for supporting and maintaining SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The role involves handling financial transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting business processes, and optimizing SAP system usage for finance operations.

Key Responsibilities :

1. SAP FICO Support & Configuration :

- Provide end-user support for SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules

- Configure and maintain SAP FI components :

1. General Ledger (GL)

2. Accounts Payable (AP)

3. Accounts Receivable (AR)

4. Asset Accounting (AA)

- Work on CO components :

1. Cost Centers

2. Profit Centers

3. Internal Orders

4. Product Costing

2. Financial Operations :

- Process and monitor daily financial transactions in SAP

- Ensure accurate postings, reconciliations, and reporting

- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

3. Issue Resolution & Enhancements :

- Troubleshoot SAP FICO issues and provide timely resolutions

- Coordinate with technical (ABAP) team for enhancements and developments

- Perform system testing for new configurations and changes

4. Compliance & Reporting :

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations

- Generate financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

- Assist in audits (internal and external)

5. Stakeholder Coordination :

- Collaborate with finance, IT, and business teams

- Gather business requirements and translate into SAP solutions

- Provide user training and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field

- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred

Experience :

- 2 to 5 years of experience in SAP FICO

- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of FI & CO configuration

- Experience in :

1. GL, AP, AR, AA

2. Costing & profitability analysis

- Understanding of integration with MM & SD modules

- Basic knowledge of ABAP (preferred)

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good communication and stakeholder management

- Ability to work independently and within a team

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance

- Knowledge of GST / local taxation (for India-based roles)

- Exposure to Fiori apps and reporting tools
