We are looking for a GLOSS Developer with hands-on experience in the GLOSS platform and strong SQL development skills. The role will involve application development, data processing, troubleshooting, and enhancement of financial systems supporting trading, servicing, and financial calculations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and support applications on the GLOSS platform.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-volume datasets.

- Perform query tuning, indexing, execution-plan analysis, and database performance optimization.

- Work with large and partitioned tables while ensuring efficient data processing.

- Develop and support batch processing workflows and scheduling processes.

- Analyze business requirements related to trading lifecycle, loan servicing, financial calculations, and related processes.

- Perform data reconciliation, validation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

- Troubleshoot application, data, and production issues and provide timely resolution.

- Develop scripts using Shell, Python, or similar technologies for automation and operational activities.

- Work in Unix/Linux environments for application support and development.

- Follow version-control and CI/CD practices using tools such as Git.

- Collaborate with business analysts, technology teams, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and production deployments.

- Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to development and operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 2-7 years of relevant experience in GLOSS development/support.

- Strong hands-on experience with the GLOSS platform.

- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, indexing, execution plans, and performance tuning.

- Experience working with large datasets, partitioned tables, and relational databases.

- Good understanding of batch processing frameworks and scheduling tools.

- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.

- Experience with Shell scripting, Python, or similar scripting languages.

- Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices.

- Strong understanding of relational database design, data reconciliation, data quality, and controls.
