Globant - SQL Developer

We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relational databases, data analysis, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

- Optimize queries for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Maintain database structures, tables, indexes, and views.

- Analyze complex datasets to support reporting and business intelligence needs.

- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across systems.

- Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to meet project requirements.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of database-related changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a SQL Developer.

- Proficiency in T-SQL, PL/SQL, or MySQL/PostgreSQL depending on the database platform.

- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

- Strong understanding of joins, indexing, normalization, and data modeling.

- Experience with SSIS/ETL tools, scripting, or scheduling jobs is a plus.

- Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI, SSRS, or Tableau is desirable.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and documentation abilities.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
