- Collaborate with database administrators to design, implement, and optimize database schemas and queries using RDBMS (like PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL etc.) to support GIS functionalities.

- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement of team practices.

- Work closely with GIS analysts, front-end developers, and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions that meet client needs.

Required skills :

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Object-oriented programming (OOP)

- Strong expertise in Java Enterprise Edition and Spring/Spring boot for building robust applications.

- Understanding of web standards for developing compliant and efficient web applications.

- Experience in deploying applications on Linux and Windows OS.

- Knowledge of designing and implementing REST APIs.

- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).

- Skills in querying databases.

- Familiarity with software design patterns for creating maintainable code.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical skills to tackle complex issues effectively.

- Good command of written and spoken English for clear communication with team members.

- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to team development and morale.

Preferred Skills :
