Job Responsibilities :

- Lead the meetings with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for GIS-related projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making, utilizing GIS tools and techniques to visualize and interpret data.

- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring that project deliverables meet business needs and requirements.

- Assist in the design and development of GIS solutions by translating business requirements into functional specifications and using cases for technical teams.

- Conduct regular meetings and workshops with stakeholders to review project progress, gather feedback, and adjust project scope or requirements as necessary.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and reports on project status and outcomes for stakeholders.

- Mentor the junior business analyst and business analyst

Qualifications & Experience :

- B.Tech / B.E

- 5-8 Years

Required skills

Technical Skills :

- Advanced skills in gathering and eliciting complex business requirements and securing sign-off from stakeholders.

- Proficiency in preparing detailed Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), and Business Requirements Documents (BRD) for various projects.

- Strong experience in facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and guiding users through the testing process.

- Ability to create comprehensive and persuasive responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).

- Proficient in conducting technical evaluations of tenders and RFPs, preparing pre-bid queries, and producing technical documentation.

Soft Skills :

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear presentation of complex ideas and documentation to diverse audiences.

- Strong interpersonal skills for effective intra-department communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including legal, sales, and finance.

- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, lead discussions, and coordinate efforts to achieve project goals.

- High attention to detail in documentation and communication to ensure clarity and accuracy in all deliverables.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, enabling effective project oversight and delivery.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess requirements, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.

- Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and related technologies is highly beneficial.
