Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer(GCP) to backfill a critical role on the data engineering team. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, supporting scalable batch and real-time data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP

- Develop batch and streaming pipelines using Apache Spark (Scala)

- Process large datasets using Spark SQL, DataFrames, and Datasets

- Build and manage pipelines using BigQuery, GCS, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, and Dataflow

- Develop real-time data processing using Spark Structured Streaming

- Integrate streaming sources via Pub/Sub and Kafka (as applicable)

Required Qualifications :

- 4+ years of data engineering experience

- Strong expertise in Apache Spark with Scala

- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform

- Strong knowledge of BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage

- Experience with Dataproc and/or Dataflow

- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns
