About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced GCP Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise-grade solution design, with the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Create high-level and low-level architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution blueprints

- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives

- Define best practices for cloud architecture, governance, security, and cost optimization

- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless solution delivery

- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to design standards and compliance requirements

- Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and reliability

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies for cloud deployments

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- 10 to 15 years of overall IT experience with strong exposure to cloud architecture

- Proven experience working extensively on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services

- Hands-on experience with services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, etc.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and distributed systems

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Deployment Manager)

- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Familiarity with cloud security, networking, and identity management

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have :

- GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Architect preferred)

- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments

- Exposure to data engineering or AI/ML services on GCP
