Functional Time & Absence Lead - Workday Implementation

Job Title : Functional Time and Absence lead

Project Overview & Current phase :

The project involves implementing Workday Time & Absence and Workforce solutions across France and Poland.

- Workforce will be used primarily for blue-collar time tracking

- Workday Time will support white-collar employees

- Workday Absence will be used across both populations

The project is in the implementation phase, and the client requires a senior functional lead to drive delivery, ensure alignment with local regulations, and support stakeholders across regions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the functional delivery of Time & Absence implementations

- Act as the SME for Workday Time & Absence and/or Workforce

- Gather and validate business requirements, ensuring alignment with local labor laws

- Oversee configuration, design, and testing activities

- Manage stakeholder communication across multiple regions

- Support project planning, timelines, and delivery milestones

- Provide guidance on best practices and solution design

- Collaborate with technical teams and third-party vendors

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience with Workday Time & Absence and/or Workforce

- Proven track record as a Functional Lead on HRIS or Time projects

- Solid understanding of timekeeping regulations and compliance (ideally Europe)

- Experience working with both blue- and white-collar populations

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

- Experience delivering in global or multi-country environments

Nice to Have :

- Experience with France and/or Poland time and absence implementation

- Previous project management experience/ project management certifications

- Broader Workday HCM knowledge

- Experience in HR transformation programmes
