Own functional architecture and business process design for in-store technology, ensuring store workflows are translated into functional specifications, testable requirements, and operationally viable solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Define functional blueprint for POS, SCO, MPOS, Back Office, and supporting services.

- Design end-to-end store workflows : sales, returns/exchanges, voids, refunds, promotions, vouchers, loyalty.

- Define tender/payment workflows including exception handling and reconciliation considerations.

- Define EOD/Store close, cash management, and in-store reporting workflows.

- Create functional artifacts : BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and exception catalogs.

- Ensure regulatory and market compliance requirements are captured (VAT/fiscal/e-invoicing where applicable).

- Lead requirement triage, impact assessment for change requests, and backlog readiness for delivery teams.

- Lead UAT planning and support : scenarios, data setup requirements, defect triage, sign-off readiness.

- Own requirements lifecycle : intake - analysis - specification - validation - UAT - rollout.

- Define functional data requirements (masters/transactions), audit needs, and retention considerations.

- Facilitate workshops with store ops, finance, audit, IT security, and vendor teams.

- Drive traceability : requirement - story - test - result.

- Support pilot rollout and hypercare with structured issue triage and resolution tracking.

Required Skills :

- 10-15 years retail in-store/POS domain experience.

- Strong functional knowledge : sales/returns/tenders/promotions/loyalty/cash office/EOD.

- Excellent documentation and facilitation skills (BRD/FRD, process flows, MoMs).

- Experience supporting store pilots and rollout programs with UAT ownership.

Good to Have :

- Market/regulatory experience (VAT, fiscalization, e-invoicing) where applicable.

- Payments domain exposure (acquirers, refund flows, reconciliation).

- Experience with multi-brand/multi-market retail operating models.
