Job Description

Role Overview :

We are hiring a Lead Mobile Engineer to lead the development of FOXOs mobile platform across Android and iOS. You will work closely with product, design, AI, and backend teams to build fast, scalable, AI-native mobile experiences.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in React Native and Expo ecosystem, strong understanding of native mobile systems, and experience building production-grade consumer applications at scale.

What You'll Do :

- Architect and build scalable React Native applications.

- Lead mobile platform engineering across Android & iOS.

- Own app performance, reliability, releases, and production debugging.

- Build OTA update systems using Expo Updates & EAS.

- Optimize startup time, rendering performance, and responsiveness.

- Build native integrations including Bluetooth, maps, camera, notifications, etc.

- Setup CI/CD pipelines, testing systems, and release workflows.

- Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and AI teams.

- Mentor engineers and drive mobile engineering best practices.

What We're Looking For :

- 6+ years of hands-on mobile engineering experience.

- Strong production experience with React Native.

- Deep understanding of Expo ecosystem & EAS workflows.

- Strong understanding of Android/iOS systems and native modules.

- Experience building scalable consumer mobile apps.

- Strong mobile performance optimization experience.

- Experience owning Play Store & App Store releases.

- Startup mindset with strong ownership and execution ability.
