About the Role :

Corpus is an AI-first product the core experience is a conversation, not a dashboard. That makes design unusually hard and unusually important. You'll define how people interact with an AI they're trusting with their money: when it speaks, how it surfaces information, what it asks, and how it earns trust over time. You'll work with the founders to turn ambiguous problems into clear, beautiful product.

What You'll Do :

- Own the end-to-end product experience from first onboarding to daily use.

- Design AI-native interactions : conversational flows, generative UI, nudges, and progressive disclosure of financial complexity.

- Prototype rapidly test ideas with real users and iterate within the same week.

- Build and maintain the design system as the product and team scale.

- Work directly with engineering to ship you care about how it's built, not just how it looks.

- Talk to customers daily understand their financial lives firsthand, not through secondhand summaries.

- Shape product strategy: what to build, what to cut, and what the user actually needs.

Expectations :

This is a high-ownership, in-person role in Bangalore. You'll move between research, prototyping, customer calls, and production design in the same day sometimes the same hour. This works well for someone who thrives on involvement and wants to build a product from scratch. It may not be the right fit if you need a lot of process or structure around your work.

Requirements :

- 3 - 8 years designing consumer products, SaaS, or fintech applications.

- A portfolio that shows strong product thinking not just visual polish.

- Expert in Figma, prototyping, and interaction design.

- Ability to simplify complex financial information into clear, intuitive experiences.

- High comfort with ambiguity you sketch ideas, test them, and move on without waiting for a brief.

- Excellent communication you articulate design rationale to engineers and founders clearly.

Bonus :

- Designed conversational or AI-powered product interfaces.

- Built a product from zero to one at a startup.

- Basic understanding of frontend code (React, CSS) enough to speak the language.
