FIS Product Tester

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced FIS Product Tester (IST Switches) with 6 to 12 years of overall IT experience in the banking and payments domain. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in FIS product testing within the last 2 years of their

professional career.

The role involves end-to-end testing of FIS payment products integrated with IST Switches, ensuring system stability, compliance, and high-quality transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform end-to-end testing of FIS products integrated with IST Switches

- Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and system test cases

- Validate transaction lifecycle including authorization, clearing, and settlement

- Analyze and validate ISO 8583 message formats and switch transaction logs

- Conduct backend database validation using SQL queries

- Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA/ALM

- Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment validation

- Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and switch teams

- Ensure compliance with banking and payment industry standards

Mandatory Requirements :

- 6 - 12 years of overall IT experience

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on FIS product testing experience within the last 2 years

- Strong experience working with IST Switches

- Experience in Cards & Payments domain

- Strong knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging standards

- Good understanding of transaction processing systems

- Strong SQL knowledge for backend validation

Preferred Skills :

- Banking/Financial Services domain experience

- Experience in debit/credit card transaction testing

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Salary : 24 - 30 LPA
