About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Firewall Specialist with expertise in managing, migrating, and securing enterprise network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in firewall technologies, network infrastructure migrations, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and efficient network solutions for a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise firewalls (Fortigate and Cisco ASA).

- Execute firewall application migration projects, including methodology planning and end-to-end execution.

- Handle network infrastructure and application flow migrations in a firewalled environment with minimal downtime.

- Perform planning, coordination, and execution of assigned network delivery projects.

- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

- Ensure all activities adhere to banking security standards, processes, and compliance requirements.

- Prepare documentation, knowledge transfer, and handover to operations teams post-deployment.

- Provide technical support for firewall-related incidents and troubleshoot complex issues.

- Maintain excellent communication and coordination with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Experience : 5 - 8 years in network and firewall administration with hands-on experience in Fortigate and Cisco ASA firewalls.

- Network Expertise : Strong knowledge of Cisco routers and switches with experience in enterprise network environments.

- Migration Expertise : Proven experience in network infrastructure and firewall migration projects, including application flow analysis.

- Security Compliance : Understanding of firewall policies, security standards, and risk mitigation in a banking/financial environment (preferred).

- Soft Skills : Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation abilities.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

Certifications (Preferred/Required) :

Networking Certifications :

- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing & Switching or Security

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (minimum required)

Firewall & Security Certifications :

- Fortinet NSE 4/5/6 (Network Security Expert)

- Palo Alto PCNSE (optional, good to have)

- Check Point CCSA/CCSE (optional, good to have)

Other Security Certifications (Good to Have) :

- CompTIA Security+

- CISSP or CISM (for senior-level roles)
