Offshore AI Technical Lead

Location : Offshore (India)

Experience : 6-10 years

Role Type : Full-time

Overview :

We are seeking an AI Technical Lead to guide and mentor our offshore AI engineering team supporting client projects in biopharma analytics, data science, and AI solutions.

This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery of AI/ML solutions, mentoring junior data scientists, and establishing best practices for model development, deployment, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical leadership to a team of data scientists and AI engineers.

- Design and implement machine learning and AI solutions for client projects.

- Review and approve AI models, code, and technical designs.

- Guide junior engineers in best practices for ML development and data engineering.

- Ensure AI solutions are production-ready and scalable.

- Collaborate with onsite leads and client stakeholders on solution design and delivery.

- Establish standards for code quality, model performance, and documentation.

- Support integration with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud environments.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years experience in machine learning, AI, or data science development.

- Strong programming skills in Python

- Experience building end-to-end ML pipelines.

- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, or GCP).

- Strong understanding of model evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.

- Ability to mentor junior engineers and review technical work.

Preferred Experience :

- Experience working with healthcare, life sciences, or biopharma data.

- Experience deploying models using MLOps frameworks.

- Experience integrating AI solutions with data warehouses or analytics platforms.
