Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Agile Coach to join our Technology organization and lead enterprise-wide agile transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on coaching teams, enabling organizational change, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

As an Agile Coach, you will work closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Delivery Leads, and senior business stakeholders to strengthen agile maturity, improve delivery predictability, and build high-performing, self-organizing teams. You will champion agile principles, facilitate organizational change, and support the adoption of scalable agile frameworks across multiple product and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Coach Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leadership on Agile values, principles, and best practices.

- Drive enterprise-wide agile transformation initiatives and support the adoption of modern ways of working.

- Assess team agility and develop improvement plans to enhance collaboration, delivery effectiveness, and customer value.

- Mentor Scrum Masters in servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement techniques.

- Coach Product Owners on product backlog management, value prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and roadmap planning.

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, PI Planning, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.

- Guide teams in adopting scalable Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, Scrum@Scale, or other enterprise Agile methodologies.

- Partner with engineering, architecture, product, and business teams to remove delivery impediments and improve cross-functional collaboration.

- Identify organizational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to increase productivity and delivery efficiency.

- Foster a culture of experimentation, innovation, transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.

- Develop Agile coaching strategies, maturity assessments, and transformation roadmaps.

- Monitor Agile health metrics and delivery KPIs, including sprint predictability, velocity, lead time, cycle time, and team engagement.

- Support portfolio planning, dependency management, and release planning across multiple Agile teams.

- Facilitate workshops on Agile practices, Lean thinking, Design Thinking, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement.

- Coach leadership teams on Agile governance, organizational agility, and servant leadership.

- Promote engineering excellence by encouraging DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and quality-first practices.

- Build Agile communities of practice and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.

- Support organizational change management initiatives to embed Agile as a sustainable way of working.

Required Skills :

- Proven experience as an Agile Coach, Enterprise Agile Coach, or Senior Scrum Master.

- Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Agile delivery methodologies.

- Hands-on experience implementing scaled Agile frameworks such as :

1. SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)

2. LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum)

3. Nexus

4. Scrum@Scale

5. Disciplined Agile (preferred)

- Experience coaching multiple cross-functional Agile teams within large enterprise environments.

- Strong facilitation, mentoring, and conflict resolution skills.

- Experience coaching Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and senior leaders.

- Deep understanding of Agile metrics, team health indicators, and continuous improvement practices.

- Experience supporting Agile transformation and organizational change initiatives.

- Strong knowledge of Agile planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and release management.

- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

- Ability to foster collaboration across business and technology teams.

- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.

Technical & Agile Skills :

- Scrum, Kanban, Lean Agile, SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, Scrum@Scale, Agile Coaching, Enterprise Agile Transformation, Product Delivery, Agile Portfolio Management, PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Management, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps (preferred), Miro / Mural (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related discipline.

- Agile certifications such as :

1. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

2. Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II/III)

3. Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)

4. SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)

5. SAFe Agilist (SA)

6. ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP-ACC / ICP-ATF)

7. PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

- Experience in financial services, banking, investment management, or other highly regulated industries is an advantage.

- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices.
