Job Description

Role Overview:

Fanatics Brands is seeking an experienced ERP Developer to join its Hyderabad team, focused on sustaining and evolving ERP and manufacturing systems built on COBOL that power critical business functions including Order Management, Inventory Control, and Fulfillment.

This role bridges legacy system stewardship with forward-looking modernization work, enabling integration between established platforms and solutions like Manhattan Active.

What You Will Do:

- Partner closely with business analysts and cross-functional stakeholders to translate ERP requirements into effective technical solutions.

- Ensure system stability and reliability of the ERP stack that underpins order fulfillment and inventory operations.

- Resolve incidents and break-fix issues with urgency, minimizing disruption to operational workflows.

- Build and maintain APIs and wrapper services that enable seamless integration between legacy ERP systems and modern platforms.

- Refactor legacy COBOL code to improve maintainability, performance, and long-term scalability.

- Manage Informix database schemas and stored procedures, optimizing SQL queries and resolving runtime errors.

Tech Stack & Qualifications:

- 5+ years of ERP development experience using COBOL.

- Strong proficiency in COBOL and Informix SQL.

- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments, with AIX experience preferred.

- Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and batch-driven workflows.

- Prior experience in retail or supply chain ERP systems strongly preferred.

- Experience with Informix 4GL, Genero or similar low-code platforms is a plus.

Work Location:

Hybrid: The primary place of performance of this role is the Company's office located in Hyderabad, India, subject to the Company's current hybrid work policy.
