Role Overview :

As an IBM MDM Consultant based in Bengaluru, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust master data management solutions that serve as the single source of truth for our clients' enterprise data. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams, data architects, and business stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into scalable technical architectures. Your work will directly influence the quality, consistency, and accessibility of data, enabling clients to make informed, data-driven decisions that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop end-to-end MDM solutions using IBM InfoSphere MDM to ensure data integrity and consistency across enterprise systems.

- Configure and customize MDM components, including data models, survivorship rules, and matching algorithms, to meet specific client business requirements.

- Integrate MDM solutions with upstream and downstream applications using ETL tools to facilitate seamless data flow and synchronization.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the MDM environment to maintain high system availability and performance for end-users.

- Partner with business stakeholders to map data governance policies into technical configurations, ensuring compliance and data quality standards are met.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in IBM MDM (Advanced Edition/Standard Edition) with a strong understanding of data modeling and stewardship workflows.

- Exhibit hands-on experience in developing complex ETL processes to support data migration and integration initiatives within large-scale environments.

- Possess 4 to 7 years of professional experience in data management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality MDM solutions.

- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders, fostering collaboration across diverse project teams.

- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and adapt quickly to the evolving requirements of client-facing engagements in a hybrid work environment.

- Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
