We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Engineer to join our IT team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and developing scalable data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring reliable, high-quality data solutions to support business needs.

What to expect in your journey :

- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Python and Apache Spark

- Build and manage data solutions on Databricks, leveraging Delta Tables for reliable and performant data storage

- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across large-scale datasets

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, analysts, product teams) in an Agile environment

- Implement version control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub

- Automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of data workflows

- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues

- Follow best practices for secure, maintainable, and reusable code

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong programming experience in Python

- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark / Spark SQL)

- Proven expertise in Databricks and Delta Lake / Delta Tables

- Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub for source control and collaboration

- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

What you bring to the table :

- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Data Engineer or in a similar data engineering role.

- A graduate degree in BCA, B.Tech, BE, or an equivalent discipline is required.

Shift Timings : 7.30pm to 4.30am
