Job Summary :


We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow CMDB / ITOM Consultant with strong expertise in CMDB management and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CMDB data modeling, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management, along with a solid understanding of the ServiceNow platform and ITIL processes. The role involves ensuring CMDB data accuracy, managing CI relationships, configuring MID Servers, and integrating ServiceNow with other IT tools.


Key Responsibilities :


- Manage and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.


- Design and maintain CMDB data models and CI relationships.


- Implement and manage ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.


- Configure and maintain MID Servers for Discovery and integrations.


- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and systems.


- Monitor CMDB health dashboards and perform regular data audits.


- Work closely with infrastructure, operations, and development teams to maintain CMDB standards.


- Support ITIL-aligned processes such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management.


- Provide troubleshooting and support for CMDB and ITOM-related issues.


Required Skills :


- Strong experience in ServiceNow CMDB administration and management.


- Hands-on experience with ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management).


- Experience in MID Server configuration and management.


- Knowledge of CI lifecycle, CI relationships, and CMDB data governance.


- Experience with ServiceNow integrations and basic scripting (JavaScript/Glide).


- Understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow platform architecture.


Preferred Qualifications :


- ServiceNow certifications (CSA / CIS-ITOM) preferred


- Experience with enterprise-level ServiceNow implementations.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
