Job Title : Manager LiDAR Testing & Automotive Compliance

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and own the firmware test strategy for automotive LiDAR products.

- Establish test coverage models, KPIs, quality gates, and release criteria.

- Develop and optimize comprehensive test plans including :

1. Functional testing

2. Regression testing

3. Performance testing

4. Diagnostic validation

5. Security testing

- Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as :

1. ISO 26262

2. AUTOSAR

3. ASPICE

- Collaborate with Functional Safety, Systems, and Quality teams to close compliance gaps.

- Act as the primary interface for customers, auditors, and suppliers on testing and compliance matters.

- Partner with project managers to define scope, schedules, and resource planning.

- Promote best practices in documentation, peer reviews, and technical excellence.

- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and foster a growth-oriented team culture.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- 10+ years of experience in software testing.

- 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably within the automotive industry.

- Strong programming expertise in Python and C++ for test automation.

- Experience with :

1. CI/CD pipelines

2. Unit and integration testing

3. Version control systems

- Proven experience leading teams and delivering high-quality results.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities.

Nice to Have :

- Deep understanding of automotive software systems such as :

1. Embedded systems

2. ADAS

3. Infotainment systems

4. Electric vehicle control software

- Experience with requirements management tools like Jama (or equivalent).

- Exposure to validation environments :

1. HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop)

2. SIL (Software-in-the-Loop)

3. MIL (Model-in-the-Loop)

- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols :

1. CAN

2. LIN

3. Ethernet

4. UDS and diagnostic protocols
