Job Title : Linux/Unix Systems Engineer Automation & Migration

Experience : 7+ Years

Location : Remote

Shift Timings : US Shift

Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Only

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze and understand existing Unix/Linux-based automation workflows

- Review and interpret complex shell scripts and legacy batch jobs (e.g., Autosys)

- Assist in migration of database processes from Oracle to SAP HANA

- Translate legacy automation logic into SAP Automation Pilot workflows

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration and automation

- Identify opportunities to optimize and modernize legacy processes

- Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability during transition

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems

- Deep expertise in Shell Scripting (Bash/Korn Shell)

- Proven experience analyzing

1. Complex shell scripts

2. Legacy job schedulers (e.g., Autosys)

- Understanding of automation frameworks and batch processing systems

- Ability to work in US shift and remote environment

Good to Have Skills :

- Basic knowledge of SQL

- Exposure to SAP HANA

- Experience with SAP Automation Pilot

- Background in automation or system integration projects

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

- Experience working on migration or transformation projects

- Excellent communication and documentation skills
