We are seeking a highly intelligent Senior Technical Architect with strong curiosity and organization skills to strengthen our architecture team and lead the technical evolution of our MACH-based SaaS platform.

The successful candidate will drive architectural excellence across our distributed micro services ecosystem, ensuring scalability, security, high availability and performance while maintaining our position as an industry leader in retail and e-commerce technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture Leadership :

- Drive MACH architecture evolution and enterprise-scale system design for 400+ microservices

- Define technology roadmaps and establish architectural standards across the organization.

Technical Leadership :

- Design and optimize microservices ecosystems with service discovery and distributed data management

- Lead API-first principles and cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes and modern DevOps

- Architect integrations for marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, payment gateways & ERP

System Architecture & Infrastructure :

- Build fault-tolerant distributed systems for high-volume retail transactions

- Design unified data architecture and implement security frameworks (AES 256, PCI, GDPR compliance)

- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability

Team Leadership & Collaboration :

- Mentor development teams and conduct architecture reviews

- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions

- Lead architectural discussions and facilitate knowledge sharing across team

Experience and Skills :

Core Architecture Skills :

- 10+ years of experience in the field of software engineering, architecture and design

- Significant experience (4-6 years) with working on cloud native technologies on cross functional systems, API's and integration frameworks (including micro services)

- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing micro services architectures at scale

- System Design : Proven ability to design high-scale, high-availability systems handling millions of transactions

- Experience in technical architecture design using Java, REST API, Angular, Micro services, MySQL,

- Redis/Dragonfly, Solr, Kubernetes, Eureka/Vertex, Kafka and associated technologies.

Cloud & Infrastructure :

- Cloud Platforms : Proficiency with major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and cloud- native services

- Kubernetes : Expert-level experience with Kubernetes orchestration, deployment strategies, and cluster management

- Containerization : Advanced knowledge of Docker, container orchestration, and deployment pipelines

- DevOps/GitOps : Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment strategies

Technical Stack :

- Programming Languages : Proficiency in Java, Python or similar enterprise languages

- API Technologies : REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and modern API management platforms

- Databases : Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and distributed data strategies

- Message Queues : Knowledge of Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar event streaming platforms

- Monitoring & Observability : Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd/Grafana Alloy, and distributed tracing

Security & Compliance :

- Security Architecture : Understanding of enterprise security patterns, OAuth, JWT, and API security

- Compliance : Knowledge of industry standards including PCI DSS, GDPR, and retail compliance requirements

- Performance & Scalability : Experience with performance optimization, load testing, and capacity planning

Leadership & Soft Skills :

- Ability to understand the big picture and come up with platform design and recommendations to integrate the same with DevOps and best in class architectural principles

- Strong problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset (leveraging and exploring new technologies.)

- Ability to investigate and evaluate new tools/technology and provide recommendations to senior management on them.
