Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced IBM DataStage Developer with a strong background in ETL development and hands-on expertise in migrating DataStage workflows to IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing ETL processes and driving the transition to a modern data platform, ensuring high performance and data integrity throughout the migration.

Key Responsibilities :

ETL Development & Maintenance :

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support robust ETL pipelines using IBM DataStage.

- Manage and maintain data integration workflows that support critical business operations, especially within the Collections domain.

- Ensure smooth data movement from diverse source systems to data warehouses and analytical platforms.

Domain-Focused Data Solutions (Collections) :

- Collaborate with stakeholders from the Collections business unit to understand data needs and reporting requirements.

- Work with datasets related to customer accounts, payments, delinquencies, recovery efforts, and compliance processes.

CP4D Migration Leadership :

- Play a key role in the migration of existing DataStage ETL jobs to the CP4D platform.

- Analyze and interpret existing job logic and dependencies for effective re-platforming.

- Refactor and optimize jobs within CP4D's DataStage service.

- Address migration-specific technical challenges while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage ETL development.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in writing complex SQL queries.

- Direct experience with DataStage job migration to CP4D is mandatory.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in managing data workflows and transformations.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
