Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly experienced, delivery-focused Project Manager to lead complex, technology-driven initiatives across enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate will own end-to-end project delivery, drive execution across cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business and IT strategy.
This role demands strong expertise in project governance, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, ERP-driven programs, and hands-on use of modern project management tools.
Key Roles & Responsibilities :
Project Planning & Governance :
- Define and own project objectives, scope, success criteria, and measurable outcomes in alignment with business and IT strategy.
- Develop detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), milestones, dependencies, timelines, and delivery roadmaps.
- Establish project governance frameworks, reporting structures, escalation paths, and approval mechanisms.
- Define inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, and constraints to ensure clear scope control and stakeholder alignment.
Execution & Delivery Management :
- Lead end-to-end execution of projects from initiation through closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Track project performance using KPIs, earned value metrics, schedule variance, and cost variance.
- Manage day-to-day project activities, task assignments, and delivery coordination across internal teams and external vendors.
- Implement IT strategies and delivery models that optimize efficiency, scalability, and risk mitigation.
Resource & Team Management :
- Identify project needs including staffing, tools, infrastructure, software, and cross-departmental dependencies.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively to balance workload, optimize utilization, and meet delivery commitments.
- Coordinate project team members, define roles and responsibilities, and create execution schedules.
- Motivate, mentor, and empower team members by improving technical confidence, product understanding, and communication effectiveness.
Agile, Scrum & Waterfall Leadership :
- Lead projects using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models based on project requirements.
- Educate and onboard teams that are new to Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies, ensuring correct adoption of processes and ceremonies.
- Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and release planning where applicable.
Risk, Change & Quality Management :
- Conduct proactive risk assessments, identify dependencies, and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Manage scope changes, including rapid timeline compression from months to days, while maintaining delivery quality.
- Implement and control change management processes to ensure minimal disruption and stakeholder alignment.
- Lead quality assurance efforts, validate deliverables against acceptance criteria, and ensure compliance with standards.
Stakeholder & Client Management :
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Organize and lead project meetings, steering committees, and status reviews to discuss goals, progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Prepare and present detailed project status reports covering timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and corrective actions.
- Demonstrate problem-solving capabilities by addressing challenging project scenarios and driving successful outcomes.
Documentation & Reporting :
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans, risk registers, change logs, decision logs, and closure reports.
- Control and document project progress at each stage and conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate outcomes and lessons learned.
Tools & Technology Exposure :
- Project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Asana, or similar platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting, analysis, and executive presentations.
- Experience managing ERP-based projects and enterprise-scale IT programs.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science,or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in end-to-end project management within IT or enterprise environments.
- Proven experience managing large, complex projects, preferably with ERP or enterprise systems exposure.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is preferred
