Role : Payroll Integrations (Workday & Payroll Systems)
Desired skills and experience :
- Workday Integration Cloud and Cloud Connect for Third-Party Payroll
- PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface) - current standard - and PICOF (legacy), plus Core Connector : Worker (CCW) / WECI
- Workday Studio, EIB, Document Transformation (XSLT), and Workday REST/SOAP web services
- Proven OUS / multi-country payroll vendor integrations - outbound HR/pay data and inbound payroll results, reconciliation, and error handling
- Experience integrating Workday with global payroll providers and middleware (e.g., Dell Boomi / MuleSoft)
- Strong data mapping, troubleshooting, UAT, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and develop complex Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors to ensure robust data synchronization between Workday and third-party payroll providers.
- Design and implement sophisticated transformation logic using XSLT to meet specific payroll vendor file requirements and regulatory compliance standards.
- Manage end-to-end integration lifecycles, from initial requirements gathering and technical design to UAT support and production deployment.
- Lead complex troubleshooting efforts to resolve integration failures, data discrepancies, or performance bottlenecks within the payroll ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including integration specifications, mapping documents, and operational runbooks to ensure long-term system maintainability.
- Integrate Workday with middleware platforms such as Boomi or MuleSoft to facilitate multi-system data orchestration for global payroll operations.
- Mentor junior technical staff and provide architectural guidance to ensure adherence to best practices in integration development and security standards.
