ERP Developer - Epicor

Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled ERP Developer with strong expertise in enterprise application development, preferably in Epicor Prophet 21 (P21). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting ERP solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality business applications.

Key Responsibilities (KRA) :

- Develop, customize, and maintain ERP applications with a strong focus on Epicor Prophet 21 (P21).

- Design and implement scalable solutions using .NET/C# technologies and object-oriented programming principles.

- Create, optimize, and maintain SSRS reports, stored procedures, and SQL queries for business reporting and analytics.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and provide technical solutions aligned with business objectives.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and system integration challenges.

- Support database design, data integrity, and performance optimization using MS SQL Server technologies.

- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best development practices.

- Work closely with QA, infrastructure, and functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects and enhancements.

- Provide technical documentation, user support, and knowledge transfer for developed solutions.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and recommend innovative technology solutions.

- Manage multiple development tasks and deliver projects within timelines and quality standards.

Required Skillsets :

- Strong hands-on experience in ERP development, preferably with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21).

- Proficiency in .NET Framework, C#, and object-oriented programming concepts.

- Expertise in SSRS report development and customization.

- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, database design, stored procedures, triggers, and query

optimization.

- Experience with enterprise application integration and customization.

- Good understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience with version control systems and deployment processes is preferred.

- Knowledge of API integrations, web services, and ERP workflows will be an added advantage.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

- 6+ years of hands-on technical experience with 3+ years of software development experience

working with enterprise applications in a business environment.

- Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
